A Welcome From The Head Teacher
We believe in God, ourselves and others. Learning is without limits. Together we grow success.
At Christ Church we live out Gospel values every day. We create an environment in which pupils learn and grow into young people who are equipped for the future, physically, mentally and emotionally. A clear code for behaviour ensures a calm purposeful environment that allows every pupil to take an active part in the school community. We value reading as a key to the future and have an author in residence. We give our pupils access to a wide range of classic and modern authors to develop their love of reading. Our curriculum is built around activities that develop pupil experience. This means we take our learning outside the classroom. This can be maths in Battersea Park, a museum, the theatre or a London walk.
Outdoor learning is an important part of our timetable and pupils are given the opportunity to apply their learning within the natural garden settings the school has developed. British values underpin the work of the school and we have a ‘Value of the Month’ which is taught explicitly to all classes. Christian values have always been at the heart of Collective Worship in the school and pupils of different faiths work together to uphold these values. We value the support of parents, governors and the local community in supporting and encouraging our growth.
